What the crew found, and what they did

Every job gets written up the same way: what was wrong, what was done about it and how the roof is holding up, from Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Estero.

Roofer on a brick home during a roof tear-off

Shingle re-roof to the deck with decking swapped at the eaves

Led by Sam, Fort Myers

  1. FoundCurling shingles on the west slope and soft plywood along the eaves where the old roof had no drip edge.
  2. FixedTore off to the deck, replaced the soft sheets at the per-sheet price on the quote, re-nailed the rest and laid architectural shingles with new drip edge.
  3. ResultDry eaves, a fascia that no longer stains, and a final bill that matched the written price line for line.

  2. FixedReplaced the low-slope roof with a new membrane and rebuilt the joint to the main roof with proper step and counter flashing.
  3. ResultNo more drip in the back room through the rest of the rainy season.

Insurance claims

Storm paperwork, ready for your insurer

The claim is between you and your insurance company. Our part is the record of what the storm did to your roof, and if you'd like us there when the adjuster comes, we'll be on the roof too.

  1. A photo set you can forward

Every slope, every cracked or lifted piece and every flashing joint, each picture dated and emailed to you the day we visit.

  2. A report in plain words

Where the damage is, how it got there and what happens if it waits, written so your insurer can follow it without a phone call.

  3. A price split line by line

Tear-off, decking, underlayment, roof covering, flashing and the permit, each on its own line, so the numbers are easy to check.

Never on our side of the table: reading your policy, negotiating or settling the claim, or waiving, rebating or covering your deductible.

After a storm

Had a big blow? Let us take a look

Wind breaks the seal on a shingle and cracks tile without leaving anything you can spot from the driveway. The next heavy rain finds the gap. A free check while the damage is new keeps it a small job.

  • Shingle or tile pieces on the lawn or the lanai
  • Granules piled up where the downspouts empty
  • A drip edge, vent or gutter knocked out of line
  • Damp insulation or a musty smell in the attic
  • A fresh brown ring on a ceiling

The guy who came out to look at the roof was the same guy running the crew a month later. He remembered the soft spot by the chimney without me bringing it up.

Leak over the kitchen for months. Two other roofers sealed the wrong spot. These folks went up, found a cracked pipe boot six feet uphill and fixed it in an hour.

They put together the HOA paperwork for our tile colour before the permit even went in. Approval came back without a single question.

Tarp was on the morning after the storm, screwed down with boards so it didn't flap all night. Photos of the damage underneath were in my email by lunch.

Greg P., Cape CoralSeptember 2026. Sample review
  • 4 out of 5 stars

Good job on our re-roof and a fair price. They found more rotten decking than expected, but the per-sheet price was already on the quote, so the extra was no shock.

Their report listed the slopes that were fine as well as the damaged ones. Our adjuster said it was the clearest roof report he'd seen that week.

FAQ

Good questions, honest answers

Ask us anything else on the phone, or on the roof during the free inspection.

Call (239) 555-0158
  • Do you work on concrete tile as well as shingles?

Yes. Around Fort Myers you'll see architectural shingle, flat and barrel concrete tile and standing seam metal, often on the same street. We repair and replace all three, and we'll tell you honestly if a different material makes more sense for the house.

  • How soon can someone look at my roof after a storm?

On a normal week, usually within a day or two. Right after a hurricane the whole region is calling at once, so we tell you the honest wait when you call and get water stopped with a tarp first if it's coming in.

  • Will the same people be on my roof the whole time?

That's the point of how we work. One crew lead inspects, prices and runs the job, and the same crew stays on it from tear-off to cleanup. You have one phone number for the whole thing.

  • Can you help with my insurance claim?

We help with the paperwork, not the claim. You get dated photos, a written report and an itemized price to send your insurer. Florida law keeps roofers out of policy questions and claim negotiations, and we don't offer to cover deductibles.

  • Do I need a permit for a new roof in Lee County?

Yes, a re-roof needs a permit from whichever building department covers your address, and an inspection before the job is closed out. We file it, schedule the inspections and hand you the paperwork at the end.
